++ Tamworth students among the hardest working in country on virtual maths platform ++
Students from Landau Forte Academy QEMS have not let the change in their learning detract from their maths work. Over a 24 hour period, from Monday March 23 to Tuesday March 24, students from the Tamworth secondary school ranked in the top ten across the country for questions answered on Hegarty Maths.
What’s more, of the schools in the top ten, Landau Forte Academy QEMS students answered the most on average. The 860 students answered 8,981 questions, at an average of more than 10 questions per student. This also puts them in the top ten for questions answered per students compared to all schools.
Hegarty Maths is an online platform designed to support classroom maths teaching, which is proving invaluable across the country as students move to home-learning. Overall, 1,604 schools use the platform, which provides support to more than 1,100,000 students.
